Combines semantic vector search (understanding meaning) with BM25 keyword matching for precise results. Results are merged using Reciprocal Rank Fusion.

Minimal data collection
No accounts required. No personal data stored. We use anonymous analytics to improve the service. Search queries are logged without identifying information. We only index public Nostr events that are already on relays.
Continuous indexing
Our parser runs every 6 hours, fetching new posts from major Nostr relays. Profiles are crawled daily. The index grows automatically.

nostr.spot is built entirely on the Nostr protocol. We fetch events from public relays using standard NIPs, analyze them with AI, and make them searchable. No walled gardens, no proprietary APIs.
